A New Book

Really, there is nothing better than a new book. The fresh, crisp pages waiting your fingers and eyes. The new stories. The ….

…. “Mum? This is the same books as the True Animal Stories that I have already. This first story is the same as the first story in that book.”

Sigh. He was right. In my defence, the cover was different.

  1. oh no! that’s funny but pretty sneaky of the publishers. were you able to return the book?

    • It was just a $2.99 Scholastic book. We’ll hang on to it and give it as part of a bday gift to one of his friends.

  2. I have purchased books for the kids that we already have on the shelf more than once. More than twice. Same covers. In my defense, I think it shows I know what they like to read.
