I am a writer and an editor who has decided to put my thoughts to the electronic page, so to speak.
I love to garden, to knit, to scrapbook, to read and to learn. I will write about all those things, as well as anything else that may take my fancy, here on this blog.
The title of my blog is the source of my inspiration. I live by the ocean, and it calms me and inspires me every day. The pictures that I feature on my header are mine, from our island beaches.

I love the picture on your header. I too love the ocean, but unlike you I live in south-central U.S., so whenever I see pictures like this one of yours it’s a reminder that I need to take some time to do what I love…. a trip to the ocean!

I’ll say it again, Kate, you are so blessed & fortunate to be living on the Island and waking every morning to the sights and smells and sounds of the majestic ocean. Happy sea glass hunting, I love your creations (the stepping stones (?) and mosaic-looking plaques. Beautiful. Oh, and how could I leave out knitting? Your cloths are sooo nice, every one of them. It’s an addiction I can happily live with. Oh, and I really like your quotes. I’ll need to check in once in awhile to read some more. Enjoy your day :)
