I’ll take my delights wherever I can get them, no matter how small or out of the ordinary. The hibiscus that survived the winter in the pot at the front door, and now is covered in buds about to bloom – a true unexpected delight.

So pretty! It’s easy to see why you delighted in those tiny, delicate flowers! I like that you shared both close-up and further away because I didn’t realize how tiny they really are!

Those are just the buds. The flowers themselves are just opening now (took the photos about 3 days ago) and are a big, showy red. I’ll post more photos soon.

Okay fine. ;) I just looked up Hibiscus and now can see what the flowers look like. Although I must admit that the tiny, delicate nature of the buds appeals to me more. I’ll look forward to your pictures.
