Pink and White

Pink sky this morning. Was much deeper rose colour five minutes earlier, but Bushboy had to get to jazz band practise and we couldn’t stop.

And then about 6pm tonight, the snow began. Swirly snow, like a feather pillow being ripped apart.

It likely won’t stick around much past tomorrow, but it sure is pretty!

  1. gorgeous!
and i think the phrase, “like a feather being ripped apart” needs to get worked into a poem.

    • I’ll think about it :)

  2. This is beautiful! It’s not often you see a pink sky. Yes, you do need to work the feather phrase into one of your poems, it says it all! Love it.

    • It was an astounding deep pink. Forecasting the snow I’m pretty sure.
