The Festive Season

christmas 2012

The house guests have gone, the left-overs dealt with, the dishwasher cleared out and the laundry is on. Another Christmas done. We have had a lovely week, including a white Christmas (followed by the ever traditional late December rain to wash it all away); a visit with a baby; overnight guests and much glee over wonderful, thoughtful gifts.  I hope the holiday treated you and yours well, with love and light and laughter.

I will be back tomorrow to talk about One Word, both my word for 2012 and how I felt and a little sneak peek at my plans for my One Word in 2013. The New Year is almost upon us, my friends. I, for one, am optimistic.

  1. Ah, it sounds like the Kate family enjoyed a wonderful Christmas! Ours was great, as well, spent Christmas Day with good friends and their kin.

I was thinking about my last year’s One Word – ‘calm’. I’ve been tossing a few ideas around for this year’s One Word. Can’t wait to discover your One Word for 2013.

Like you, I am optimistic for the New Year 2013 – best hopes & wishes to everyone :)

Welcome! I always like to hear what people think of a post, it often leads to a great discussion! I am now responding to comments and questions right in the comments themselves, so other people can follow the conversation.
