Quinsam River maple trees, May 2011.

We walked along the north side of the Quinsam River earlier this week, through the campground. I have had the words and the sentiment from the opening monologue of A River Runs Through It in my head for a week now, after watching a mountain bike video that adapted it for biking. Being along the Quinsam makes me think of it even more. There’s a feeling of timelessness and belonging among the trees and along the water, I cherish it.
