Happy Earth Day, 2011.

I hope you all have at least a little piece of beauty that reminds you why the earth needs our voices now, more than ever. We feel so fortunate to live here in this astoundingly beautiful and wild part of the world, but we also feel a duty to protect it, to fight for it, and to do our part to keep it intact for future generations. We are thinking of these things today, on Earth Day, and how even a little action in our own home can make a difference. We are also thinking of the larger actions we’d like to see happen in our country, and how this election is a time to at least get the questions out there and see what the people who want to represent us in government have to say.

  1. Hurray! I’m so glad you blogged about Earth Day! We all need to appreciate the immense beauty our world has to offer. If we all do a little bit, rather, a LOT a bit, we can find comfort knowing we’ve kept our dear planet healthy & alive for future generations.

  2. Well said – both of you!

  3. Hello there! My sentiments completely! You are so fortunate to live in such a stunningly beautiful part of our world. So much more pleasure is gained from the natural environment then anything man-made. Enjoy! Ros
