Mr. Kate’s sweater is still in the works. I haven’t been this faithful to a project in ages, but as Mr. Kate keeps reminding me, he’d like to wear it for fishing this fall.
Front and back are finished:
I love the stitch definition with this yarn (the darker colour is more accurate though):
I do enjoy working on it, but hope to have it finished soon. I am craving more projects!!
I know exactly how you feel. I’m on the second sleeve of the sweater for my husband–so close to the end–but SO BORED.

Wow, you’re amazing, kate! I admire your perserverence, it looks like your nearing the finish line. Love the colour, too, it’s perfect. And while I’ve got you, I misspelled Nora Vaughn’s last name in one of my replies to you, then seeing her name spelled correctly by you and in a knitting newsletter (Paton’s, Berroco? don’t recall). Is this sweater pattern called, Beagle? Love it, I once had a Beagle I called Lady.

How did I miss this post when I went on my commenting frenzy the other day?? Anyway…this looks amazing and perfect for fall fishing. I can imagine you will be glad to be done with it and start on other things…a true testament to your love for your husband! ;)

Wow! It looks wonderful! I’d have a cardigan if I could display the same commitment. But I only have a back. Love the bobbles and cabling, as well as the halo of the yarn. Mr. Kate will be quite warm indeed.
