Even more satisfying than making lovely socks for my mum that she constantly wears, is hearing that her dear friend wanted a pair. I wanted some nice, bright yarn for Pat’s socks (she’s a very feisty 81-year-old) and found the right thing with Regia.
The pattern is a seed stitch rib with a short row heel and wedge toe, pretty much my standard with striping yarn. They’ll be in the mail this week, I hope she likes them!
there is nothing more satisfying than having someone request your handknits.
these socks are very lovely – great job!
