Rusted relics are common in the island forests, evidence of the people that worked and lived in the bush in previous centuries. This particular piece was seen on the way to Cape Scott Park last year.

That is so cool. What the heck IS it? I’d probably stand there staring at it for ages, is great you snapped a pic :) It IS sort of magical, something you’d see in a Harry Potter film?
