Look! Look look look!

OK, I might be just a little excited. You see, five years ago I bought a beautiful french lilac shrub. You know, the ones where the flowers are edged in white? They are so pretty. Only thing was, it was very unhappy where I first planted it and so I had to move it to the backyard. And it didn’t like that too much. In fact, I was starting to think my pretty lilac would never actually flower. But guess what? There are buds! Buds galore! See?

They are so pretty even as buds, and I was like a kid in a candy store when I saw them the other day.

  4. Lilac blooms are definitely something to be excited about…and so exciting that your plant finally seems happy! They are the thing I look forward to the most in spring. We have a row of them separating our property from our neighbors and the air just drips with the scent of their blooms.

  5. I love it when that happens!
