Rockin’ Christmas

I hope you have all had a festive, merry, loving holiday season so far. We are in that odd week of limbo, where school is out, people are away, New Year’s is still to come. Mr. Kate is working hard as this is his busiest time of year, and Bush Boy and I are just chilling out at home. We went for a great walk yesterday afternoon (before the rain started) at Salmon Point. Quite a few people were out enjoying some fresh air, and lots of dogs, too!

I’m thinking on my word for 2010. I really liked having a focus word for 2009, and feel like I honoured AWARENESS in my life better because of it. So I shall do the exercise again, and I’ll let you know in the New Year what my word will be.

We had a lovely Christmas, and were all spoiled and loved and fed well. The best gift of all was the joy on Bush Boy’s face Christmas Day when he saw the present he’d been hoping for waiting for him Christmas morning, courtesy of Santa.

  3. what fun – you will have a rockin’ 2010 for sure!

i like the idea of a word to focus on for the year – i’m sure you’ll come up with a good one.
enjoy your night and happy new year!!

  4. Santa did good this year! I hope it gives him hours upon hours of enjoyment but you are still able to find peace and quiet when you need it! :)

  5. I love the idea of a word for the year!! We (my husband & I) have talked about the same idea for 2010. For us, it’s altruism.

Welcome! I always like to hear what people think of a post, it often leads to a great discussion! I am now responding to comments and questions right in the comments themselves, so other people can follow the conversation.
