I have finished making the pages for my December Daily album, and now just have to put the numbers on them for the days, along with an embellishment or two. I thought I’d share with you some of the pages I’ve created, as a way for me to document the process.
This album is intended to be a record of our family throughout December. I know there will be certain things in there: the advent calendar and book for day 1; the Christmas lights going up; the tree being decorated; the snow globe collection coming out. But there will also be the unexpected – perhaps a snow fall or a sick day or a movie treat. The album won’t be finished until January 1st, but at the end we will have a keepsake of what our lives were like for this holiday month.
As you can see, this is a great way to use up scraps of paper. My chosen size is 7 x 9, with some variation and some chipboard pieces thrown in, as well as a couple of envelopes and some trading card sleeves.
And because it is Tuesday, so I can share my mess — this is my floor today as I finished selecting the pages:
all I can say is WOW at your wonderful looking pages there.
…. ok not showing mine now – Iwill be ashamed of my small efforts……..boo hoo! (and I cant get access to my christmas decos now too…. )

What a great album you have there. I can’t wait to see some of those pages when they are finished. December is the perfect month to do it too – so many interesting things going on.
