Spring Haiku

Rain falling softly
Whispers to the seeds below;
Hearing, they awake.

Like a baby’s fist
The new leaves curl their green tips,
Slowly unfurling.

Tulips greet the sky
Wearing bright gaudy colours
To announce the Spring.

  1. What a lovely haiku. Spring has been so very, very late here in Wisconsin. Finally we have temps up to 60–makes the tulips last longer.

  2. I amazed you could write not one, but THREE haiku’s on the same topic. I have a tough time with the 5-7-5 thing.

Welcome! I always like to hear what people think of a post, it often leads to a great discussion! I am now responding to comments and questions right in the comments themselves, so other people can follow the conversation.
