Back in September Bushboy got a short notice invitation to a birthday party for a girl in his class. “Can you make her a scarf, Mum? The girls always like those.” Well, who can say no to that. So on the Friday we went to the store and Bushboy picked out the yarn. By Sunday he wrapped up the scarf, which I have spotted the recipient wearing since.
Success! I love this pattern – Helix. Short rows are somehow so satisfying. The yarn is Bernat Satin. A great go-to scarf.
As a knitter there is nothing more satisfying than seeing the recipient wearing what you have made for them!
